QQFLiP M QA Q Whats this No Shave Movember thing and how do I get involved A Movember is an annual event started in Australia that involves the growing of a mustache during the month of No- vember to raise awareness of prostrate and testicular cancer. This event is all about the stache hoping the difference in ap- pearance will grab enough attention that the mustache grower can start talking to those that inquire about mens health. This year the US campaign is to include mens mental health and mens fitness. To participate or donate heres the link A similar event call No-Shave November is a different or- ganization. They encourage people to grow out their hair and to donate what they wouldve otherwise spent on hair groom- ing for the month of November to the American Cancer So- ciety. This campaign isnt just about the mustache though it includes beards and for the ladies - their legs. For more info on how to participate visit Q Ive got a new lady in my life and she wants to go in couples costumes for Halloween. That really isnt my thing but how to tell her without hurting her feelings A Im going to assume this is for a party and you dont mind going to parties in general but its the dressing up in costume you arent into. If thats the case then be upfront and honest with her. I believe the key to a good relationship is commu- nication. Its why Ive been with the hubster for a couple of decades now we talk. Sit your new lady down explain youll go to the party and encourage her to dress up but explain why going in costume isnt your thing. Perhaps you can come to a mutual agreement she dresses up and you can color coordinate your clothing or do something simple but comfortable to wear such as one of those tuxedo t-shirts a super hero t-shirt a sports jersey or wear a hat with a name tag that way you can be anything you want without having to actually put on a costume.
