The guys must put aside their egos and personal life dramas, and give it all they have to make the magic happen. Vivica’s ultimate goal is to get Black Magic to a spot on the famous Las Vegas Strip! For those not as familiar with Ms. Fox’s work to this point, she has appeared in several major films, like Independence Day, Kill Bill, Born on the Fourth of July, and dozens more. Born in South Bend, Indiana and growing up in Indianapolis, Vivica is an actress, producer, and television host. She moved to California to attend and graduate college and the rest is history. We sat down with Vivica recently and here are the highlights of that conversation… FLiPw: Your new show is about finding some of the most talented and sexy black exotic dancers in the country. Why do you think it’s important now to have a show about black male exotic dancers? Vivica: It’s not necessarily ‘now’ that is important. I have been a connoisseur of exotic shows ever since I played a stripper in the movie, Independence Day, and I’ve been to see the Chippendales and the Thunder from Down Under, and it occurred to me that black women have no outlet where they can see some of their own perform. This show is for everyone, of course, but it does fill a void. FLiPw: Ok, Vivica, so what do you and your Squad look for in male exotic dancers? Vivica: Oh, that’s easy, we are looking for the ‘It Factor’, that charisma…gotta have a six-pack and a smile, of course, but most of all, be able to move that B-O-D-Y!!
