Live.me recruited the help of John Rocha and YouTubers Schmoes Knows to interview some of the biggest stars at Comic-Con including Tom Hiddleston, Jai Courtney, Vanessa Hudgens, and so many more, taking questions from fans and playing games on Live.me to raise money for Operation Smile. Viewers used Live.me’s unique monetization feature to purchase virtual gifts inside the app and send those to The Nerd Machine official channel, with all proceeds going directly to the charity. With over 100,000 viewers tuning in live across the four-day event, Live.me fans raised over $6,000 that will be used to pay for approximately 30 surgeries which Operation Smile is able to perform for those with cleft lips and cleft palates.
